"Plays Metallica by Four Cellos – A live performance" CD by Apocalyptica

Two decades ago, Apocalyptica released their first and most successful Album, 'Plays Metallica by Four Cellos'. Since then, over 1.5 million copies have been sold. In 2016, a remastered version with three bonus tracks was released. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of this groundbreaking and influential Album, Apocalyptica has been on an extensive 'Plays Metallica by Four Cellos' world Tour since 2017. The highly emotional and completely instrumental live shows feature four cellos, drums, and an evening filled with Metallica covers. Breathtaking highlights include cello versions of hits like 'Enter Sandman', 'Master of Puppets', and 'Seek and Destroy', as well as spectacular encores of 'Nothing Else Matters' and 'One' that deeply resonate with the audience.

Just in time for the Tour break, Apocalyptica announces the highly anticipated release of the live Album, 'Apocalyptica Plays Metallica by Four Cellos - A Live Performance' in a 2-CD & DVD Digipak format. The DVD includes the entire two-hour concert held at the impressive medieval Olavinlinna Castle in Savonlinna, Finland. The accompanying CD/digital (and later Vinyl) formats showcase the band's particularly edgy side and were recorded during three sold-out shows at the legendary Tavastia Club in Helsinki in September.
