For the first time in 25 years, the original line up of the Prog-/Melodic-supergroup came together in the studio: Geoff Downes (keyboards) as the only permanent member of the band, drum-legend, Carl Palmer (ELP), guitarist Steve Howe (Yes) and bassist/singer John Wetton (King Crimson). A second mega hit, like "Heat of the moment" may not be among the twelve new songs but the irresistible "Never again" comes quite close to it. The same can be said about the majestic ballad, "Heroine" and the eight-minute epic, "Parallel worlds". Further highlights on this great album that leaves nothing left to be desired except some heavy parts, maybe, are Howe’s Spanish guitars in "Nothing’s forever", the atmospheric "An extraodinary life" and the return of the ingenious cover-artist, Roger Dean. A limited edition in an expensive slipcase cover furthermore contains an (acoustic) bonus track plus a multi media sequence including interviews, live-material and such.
