Due to the catchy song β€šPhobia’ the album β€žOutcastβ€œ released in 1997 will remain part of the Kreator setlists until the end of time. Drummer Ventor finally came back to the Thrash group, and with Tommy Vetterli (Coroner) Mille had a brilliant guitar partner at his side.

by Holger (null) After the disappointing "Cause for conflict"-longplayer the guys surprise me with their new output "Outcast". On the one hand the newcomers of the band Tommy Vetterli (ex-Coroner) as well as the good old Ventor provide a fresh breeze, on the other hand the guys sound damn modern and experimental without scaring away fans of the early hours. Already the opener "Leave this world behind" is pushed by a cool groove and aggression. "Phobia" and the unusual "Black sunrise" follow the opening shocker. Further highlights are "Nonconformist", "Outcast", "Stronger than before" and "Whatever it may take". Apart from "Renewal", "Outcast" is the best Kreator album and aside Grip Inc's "Nemesis" one of the best album of the genre.
