"Out of the frontline trench" CD by Sodom

The closeness of a metal band to their fans can also be measured by how long they make their followers wait for new songs. In this regard, Sodom are considered absolute role models, as they have always provided their large following with regular 'feed'. After the release of their still current album, 'Decision Day', the EP 'Partisan' was released just in time for the big European Tour in December 2018. Now, the Gelsenkirchen thrash metal band led by figurehead Tom Angelripper (vocals, bass) are once again generous: before the work on the upcoming full-length album begins, Sodom are releasing their brand new mini-album, 'Out of the Frontline Trench'. Tom calls the record 'a sign of life to the fans' and presents three brand new songs along with his guitarists Frank Blackfire and Yorck Segatz, as well as drummer Husky, plus two classics (one of which is re-recorded, the other recorded live). 'Out of the Frontline Trench' thus spans a large arc between (Sodom) past, present, and future.
