Like every other release in this series, this official and fully confirmed recording also includes a carefully curated selection of Status Quo classics, including hits from the extensive Status Quo catalog, well-known songs, and fan favorites. The 'Official Archive Series' offers exceptional sound quality and great packaging with photos by Christie Goodwin. The series has been freshly mixed and mastered by Eike Freese and Laurin Halberstadt at Chameleon Studios Hamburg.
'Vol. 1 - Live In Amsterdam' was recorded on October 19, 2010, at the Heineken Music Hall as part of the band's 'Pictures Exposed World Tour.' The setlist at the Heineken Hall was representative of the rest of the 'Pictures Exposed World Tour.' The lineup of Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andrew Bown, John 'Rhino' Edwards, and Matt Letley delivered an avalanche of Quo classics, fitting for a Tour commemorating '40 Years of Hits.'
