With the completion of their twelfth Studio album "Of Ghosts and Gods”, Kataklysm are ready to release a tsunami of the worst possible pain onto the masses. The album was recorded in three different studios – ranging from Montreal, Ontario over Dallas, Texas to Sanford, Florida. Longterm producer/Kataklysm guitar player J-F Dagenais was entrusted to record the tracks, Kataklysm lead singer Maurizio Iacono recorded his singing with the producer Mark Lewis (CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEVILDRIVER, WHITECHAPEL) in Audiohammer studios; and the album mix was expertly mastered by legendary producer Andy Sneap (MEGADEATH, AMON AMARTH, TESTAMENT). The result - a melodic version of a combination of first class brutality and intelligent song writing. The prominent, blood curling riffs and grooves never waver, as expected. Producer Mark Lewis called "Of Ghosts and Gods” "KATAKLYSMs best album yet” - which proves that Kataklysm - much like good wine and an experienced demolition squad – only get better with time.
