by Markus Eck (03.11.2008) It's a fact that this indestructible band has already dedicated itself to Pagan Metal when a lot of current fans of this now popular style were just learning to walk… Adorned Brood, now celebrating their 15th anniversary, are - apart from Menhir - one of the founders of the German Pagan Metal scene. After some unnecessary stilistic experiments on the ambivalent predecessor "Heldentat", the passionate crew around bass player and vocalist Markus once again obeyed to his creative instincts. And so, the horde releases their new, sixth, studio album: "Noor". A collection of songs, rich in content and variety, typical of the classic and proven Adorned Brood sound - just as we want it. The Melodic Pagan Folk Metal is topped off by the beautiful vocals and flute playing of Ingeborg BaumgΓ€rtel. This album is the epitome of all of Adorned Brood's strong points.
