by Lisa Hofer (29.12.2006) The baby of Morten Veland starts the next round with the new album and should draw some attention. A proud three years have passed since their last album that have obviously left some productive ideas for the new album. "Nine destinies and a downfall" is quite rocky and catchy and with as much power as in the past. Harmonic choir passages in combination with the wonderful voice of Monika Pedersen create a gloomy, basic mood inviting you to dream along. Rich arrangements, grippy melodies and a fat sound do the rest so that the album is catapulted in hit-compatible heights and doesn't let go off your cd player so quickly. Ear candies row like pearls on a chain, and songs like "My mind's eye", "The other side" and "Sundown" rapidly settle in your mind. Norwegian Metal fairy tales of the emotional kind with a lot of love for details.
