The discography of the metal band Iced Earth, who originate in Tampa, Florida, is full to the brim with iconic records. An important record among this sequence of re-releases is "Night of the Stormriderβ from 1991, which featured vocalist John Greely for the first time. Even though he was a stunningly good singer and was loved by the fans, he was part of the band only for a short time and sacked only a few years later. This is actually a pity, because the band featuring chief Jon Schaffer has never again presented itself as impetuously and imaginatively as it did on this album.
