And the brilliant sextet hasnβt run out of ideas either - as proven by their new impressively hypnotic songs. The new drummer Kai Hahto has been a good choice - that competently supported, vocalist Mikko KotamΓ€ki and his boys are on top of their art once again. Swallow The Sun are still capable of evoking the darkest emotions, delivering a versatile and seemingly easy performance in spite of the leaden material. You will hear almost incredibly atmospheric Death Doom Metal honed to perfection. Impressive sound experiences such as those on the opening track "These woods breathe evil" are disturbing, dragging you into a vortex of a deep, saturnine mind trip.
