"More inspirations" LP by Saxon

British Heavy Metal legend Saxon release 'The Faith Healer' from the new album More Inspirations, to be released on March 24, 2023, via Silver Lining Music. Following the release of Inspirations in 2021, More Inspirations is the second album of cover versions in which Saxon pays homage to their musical influences, the inspirations that have accompanied them throughout their over 40-year career. The surprising version of 'The Faith Healer' by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band will be the first single. Whether it's their version of 'We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place' by The Animals or the dynamic 'From The Inside' by Alice Cooper, or the grimly performed version of Kiss's 'Detroit Rock City,' More Inspirations is a cheerful, unconventional trip by the Saxon men who still listen to 'their' music at home and on the Tour bus.

The whole thing was produced by Biff Byford, recorded with the help of his son Seb Byford, and mixed by Jacky Lehmann. More Inspirations includes passionate songs from Rainbow, ZZ Top, and Cream, the booming 'Razamanaz' by Nazareth, their own tasteful version of 'Substitute' (The Who), or the groove-enhanced 'Gypsy' by Uriah Heep. These recordings clearly show where Saxon is coming from. After the great success of the Seize the World Tour 2022, Saxon will return to Tour in March with some dates, this time with German metal titans Rage as support.
