by Markus Eck (18.12.2006) This is the perfect Sinner album, evoking quite some surprising reminiscences of the good old days in the long history of the band. Because the amount of musical strengths with which the band reached their good reputation predominantly in the late 80s were finely re-cultivated. The blond icon, Mat Sinner produced the new disc himself taking guarantee for a fantastic sound. The album bursts for energetic Hard Rock songs, often on the threshold to Metal, still the ballad moments are not lacking, either. Guest appearances of the gifted ex-Tyran' Pace- and present Primal Fear-shouter, Ralf Scheepers, as well as Mystic Prophecy-axeman, Martin Grimm and Andy B. Franck of Brainstorm and Symphorce further refine the rich album. Mat Sinner is at his best on both vocals and bass. Especially the early fans of the fortunately indestructible sinners will welcome "Mask of sanity".
