10.Killing For Recreation
by Jürgen Tschamler (22.12.2005) Referred to as Holland's best kept secret, these young talents from the Dutch-German border region have now recorded their first longplayer album. And hell, these guys burn a powerful Death/Thrash fireworks that easily lives up to the last albums of Exodus, Destruction or Obituary! Powerful, intense and with an enormous force, they kick shells, such as "Demonfist", "Werewolf corpse" or the fat, Slayer-orientated "Taste of the whip". Also highlighted has to be the double-bass massacre, "Into the eye of the storm"- mega fat! The guys prove to be an uncompromising demolition command with the clear motto: kill the neck muscles of the bangers. Vocally, Maurice Swinkles proves to be a mix of Destruction's Schmier and Immortal's Abbath. Eleven songs and every single one of them is a hitter - they take the thrashers' hearts by storm. The mix of Slayer, Destruction, Malevolent Creation and Obituary works well. I hope this band will come along live, soon teaching the Thrash-Gospel. The limited edition is being released with a DVD!
