Nightwish want to avoid those sleazy bootleg sellers and release a first-class live thing named "Made in Hong Kong (and in various other places)" containing eight tracks of their successful "Dark passion play" album. If you happen to be among those who saw the Scandinavians on their worldwide tour, youโll always remember those unforgettable evenings. Anette Olzon has mastered all those crucial gigs, and was able to leave her very own mark during those performances instead of just being a copycat of her predecessor. Among the live tracks: the mega-selling singles "Amaranth", "Bye bye beautiful", and "The islander" - and the epic opus "The poet and the pendulum" (14 minutes long!) which is even more intense and impressive when played live. Youโll also get "Escapist" and "While your lips are still red" (those are the bonus tracks on the Japanese version of the latest CD) and a demo version of "Cadence of her last breath", sung by Marco Hietala. But thatโs not all: the package also includes a DVD with a funny and authentic tour report (playing time: 37 minutes!), and the three video clips for the aforementioned singles taken from "Dark passion play". Thatโs value for money, ladiesโnโgentlemen.
