by Jürgen Tschamler (20.01.2006) Agnostic Front release their multi-media debut, simply called βLive at CBGB'sβ. But behind this simple title you get pure energy: the complete power of an Agnostic Front show, just without the elbow into your face, contused ribs, front teeth knocked out and hematomas in the face. 52 minutes and 19 songs of hardcore. The cameras are killers: in the middle of the scene and capturing everything, there is no way of getting a show across more authentically. In times, you do not even see the musicians on stage because the stage was so crowded by people from the audience. Highlight is βGotta goβ - already the announcing of the song sees the people go mad and during the complete song there is chaos- hardcore as it couldn't be heavier. You literally see what 'unity' means in hardcore! The disc is rounded off by a 20.minute documentation, an interview with Vinnie Stigma and a cool photo gallery. Great !!!
