In June 2023, Duff McKagan will release the first single and title track, 'Lighthouse,' from his upcoming album 'Lighthouse' (set to be released in October 2023). 'Lighthouse' is the first full-length album to be created in McKagan's private studio, consisting of 11 songs that vary in tone and scope, following the direction of his 2019 album, Tenderness. 'I have found a place where I feel comfortable with how my own music should sound,' McKagan says. 'These are really just simple punk songs that don't rely on my shouting. The themes are diverse, but you'll see and hear that. The idea of starting this record with an ode to my wife and ending it with an ode to life embodies the two things I love the most.
