To put matters straight right from the start: this is not the 2000 debut (which has been rereleased 2005) of the Metalcore maniacs from Massachusetts. Nope, front screamer Howard Jones and his boys have once again come up with eleven brand-new and dangerous wrecking balls with incredible clout! Star producer Brendan O`Brien (AC/DC, Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers...) assisted the band in going even beyond their limits, and in redefining their self-created music genre. Really - Killswitch Engage are strutting their stuff as rough, melodic, powerful, and passionate as usually only red-hot newbies do: just check killer songs like "Starting over", "Reckoning" or "Light in a darkened world". New Start? Mission accomplished!
