The thrash metal institution NERVOSA returns with unstoppable power, a new lineup, and their new studio album Jailbreak, which will be released on September 29, 2023. With their predecessor Perpetual Chaos (2.8 million plays on Spotify), NERVOSA not only secured their first chart positions (#18 on the Official German Album Charts, #6 on the US Hard Music Albums, #9 on the US Top New Artist Albums Charts), but also performed at some of Europe's biggest festivals, such as Copenhell, Resurrection, Metal Days, Summer Breeze, Wacken Open Air, and many more.

Jailbreak, with its total of 13 tracks, not only stands for a raging thrash metal attack but also heralds a new chapter in the band's history. It is the first release with founding member Prika Amaral on vocals. Furthermore, NERVOSA announces exciting new additions to the lineup with the talented and experienced Helena Kotina as the second guitarist, Hel Pyre on bass, and Michaela Naydenova on drums. With Jailbreak, the four women send the message to free themselves from anything and anyone that could hinder them from pursuing and implementing their own path and ideas. It's about being proud of oneself and trusting in one's own strengths.

The album begins with 'Endless Ambition,' a track that was already released in early 2023 and served as the first glimpse of what Jailbreak carries. The opener immediately showcases Amaral's incredibly powerful performance and talent as a frontwoman. The furious 'Suffocare,' which deals with various aspects of toxic relationships, and 'Ungrateful' continue the path of the intense opening track before transitioning into the epic intro of 'Seed Of Death.' With its philosophical lyrics delving into questions about the never-ending cycle of life, the song addresses an omnipresent and relevant theme. The relentless title track 'Jailbreak' attacks with a thrash metal chorus and blistering guitar solos. The relentless 'When The Truth Is A Lie' represents a very special highlight as NERVOSA welcomes none other than EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt as a guest, while INFECTED RAIN/DEATH DEALER UNION vocalist Lena Scissorhands makes a vocal statement in 'Superstition Failed.' 'Elements of Sin' delivers some of the album's most impressive guitar parts and intense vocals before NERVOSA exposes their full power once again with the uncontrollable, final track 'Nail The Coffin' and concludes Jailbreak with a loud bang.

Just like on their previous albums, the newly formed quartet does not hold back, tackling our society in an honest and critical manner and underlining these messages with raw and unbridled sound. The renewed collaboration with producer Martin Furia (DESTRUCTION) adds a finishing touch to the combo's fifth album. With Jailbreak, NERVOSA presents a mighty thrash metal masterpiece that sets itself at the forefront of the band's history.
