Originally conceived as a studio project in 2011, Surrender The Crown evolved into a full-fledged band two years later. With their debut album 'What We Think Defines Us,' they established their musical core: stomping, grooving heavy rock without musical blinders. Metal Hammer selected the band as the 'heroes of tomorrow' from the start. On their second album, 'Life Decides,' released in 2016, the band impressed both fans and critics with a more experimental and clearly heavier sound, earning them the title of 'Tip of the Month' in Rock Hard magazine in May of that year. 'The Neverending Now,' released two years later (and in their eighth year as a band), showcases Surrender The Crown as a self-confident and tightly-knit unit, forged together through numerous live shows, who know how to fully exploit their strengths. Following their previous album 'Life Decides,' this album once again earns the band the 'Tip of the Month' award in the June issue of Rock Hard. In 2019, the song 'Bring The Rain' is released as part of the EP 'Ready For A War' and has since been streamed over two million times - one of the biggest successes Surrender The Crown has achieved so far. On September 29, 2023, the SaarbrΓΌcken hard rock band Surrender The Crown will release their fourth studio album, 'IV - The Healing.'
