Iron Fist' shows Motörhead in a crucial phase, as they found themselves caught in the tornado of success and crashed into their next phase with true Motörhead style at such a speed that it surpassed logic and reason, becoming the ultimate kamikaze joyride for this trio. Forty years later, 'Iron Fist' sounds like Motörhead without gloves and seat belts. In 1982, punk was over, the new wave of Heavy Metal sounded squeaky and clichéd compared to its gritty godfathers, and yet Motörhead kept the ability to laugh at everything, including themselves, as they attacked all senses rapidly and turned everything up to overload.

'Iron Fist' is being released on the occasion of its 40th anniversary with a brand new remaster created from the original tapes. The album is available as a 20-page 3LP bookpack and a 24-page deluxe mediabook with 2 CDs. Both formats include a complete live show from the Glasgow Apollo, which is being released for the first time, as well as previously unreleased demos. Also available as a Limited Edition black-blue 1LP.
