For Prog Rock fans, the Dutch Arjen Lucassen has become a cult figure for more than ten years now. The former Vengeance guitarist releases records under the name of Ayreon since the mid 90s and has created some a classic. The current 'The Human Equation' is surely one of them, the most famous album however remains 'Into The Electric Castle'. Originally released in 1998, this great album features rock stars, like Fish (ex- Marillion), Damian Wilson (ex- Threshold) and Thijs van Leer (Focus). Now, Arjen Lucassen presents this masterpiece via his new label partner, Inside Out as a re-release in a paper box, a 26-page booklet, a new introduction and video interviews at the end of each c.d. If these features justify a recommendation for owners of the original cannot be generally answered. For all newcomers, however, this is the perfect chance to get themselves this magnum opus.
