11.Kleid aus Rosen (Unplugged)
by Olaf Plotke (null) One thing in advance: I cannot be objective about this band, because it's one of the greatest bands for me, at all. Since their secong album, "MCMXCV", I belong to the group of die-hard-fans who were longing for the new release "Herzblut". And it's ... so unbelievably good ... "This album is the uncramped use of all elements that define Subway To Sally," guitarist Bodenski told me (interview attached), and that says about everything about this album. "Herzblut" is a fifty-minute revelation. Hammers like "Veitstanz" or "Die Schlacht", or wunderfull ballads like "So rot" or "Kleid aus Rosen". Considering arrangements and songwriting, Subway to Sally have again progressed and the whole album asks for a live-presentation. If you have ever experienced a Subway to Sally-concert, you know what I mean. In mid-April, the tour begins, and the band will be on the road throughout Germany for almost the rest of the year.
