"Hangover music Vol. VI" by Black Label Society comes as a re-release on coloured double vinyl (orange). This edition is limited to 500 pieces and comes in gatefold format.

After four great albums, Zakk Wylde calms down a bit on the acoustic album "Hangover Music". It is more melancholic and if you like the acoustic songs by Alice in Chains will like this as well!

by Matthias Mineur (April 2004) If you've always wanted to know where Zakk Wylde drew his main influences frm, you'd only need to listen to the new album of his band, Black Label Society. Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Wylde sweats pure Southern Rock. He did that before on his solo debut, 'Pride & Glory', and a bit on the calmer 'Book Of Shadows', too. Then came some very heavy BLS releases culminating in the brutal 'The Blessed Hellride'. With 'Hangover Music Vol. VI', the band takes a rest of this metal side of theirs and rock straight southwards presenting some addictive melody lines. That Mr. Wylde is one of the real big guitarists of our times can never be doubted in either of the 15 tracks. And so, everybody gets his share: Wylde-disciples, BLS-fans and people who pray in front of their Southern Rock cupboard every morning drinking their first beer for breakfast.
