2004, Heimataerde started as a band, and also as a project including other forms of art - and in the meantime, Heimataerde has become a tight-woven net consisting of music, visual arts, design and narration. All these facets make for an epic acoustic opus telling the tale of a grim mediaeval saga featuring knights and demons. The dark mixture of EBM, Electro, brute E-guitar and unsual instruments such as bagpipes, hurdy-gurdies, and cymbals has raised a lot of interest since the band's early days in 2004.
