The work features guest performances by Dee Snider, Geoff Tate, Marco Hietala, Sharon Den Adel, Michael Kiske, Ronnie Atkins, Bob Catley, Jorn Lande, Bruce Kulick, Robert Mason, Herbie Langhans, Oliver Hartmann, and Sascha Paeth, turning it into an unforgettable experience.

This fine digibook version includes the bonus track "Wake up to the moon" and the bonus CD "Avantasia-Live" (10 tracks). "Ghostlights" was produced by Tobias Sammet and Sascha Paeth in the Gatestudio Wolfsburg. Paeth is also responsible for engineering and mix of "Ghostlights". The mastering was done by Michael Rodenberg.
