by Kerstin Große (null) Advertized since a long time, this Mini-CD now is reality. The titletrack seems to be the most commercial one, COF has ever recorded. This song contains of an almost 'singalong-type'-chorus and significant keyboard passages. The second, new song "Of dark blood and fucking" though, is as weird as one would expect. It alternates between angry BM-attacks and exaggerated, almost operetta-like passages with female vocals and strange instrumentation. In addition, Dani doesn't squeal as annoyingly shrill as he usually does, but often goes into deeper frequencies. Next are two coversongs: "Death comes ripping" (Misfits) and the bombastically converted "Sleepless" (Anathema). The following titletrack-remix (Techno/Acid style) is, compared to other usually pretty crazy remixes of Metal-songs, quite easy to listen and dance to. At the end, they placed a good live-version of "Funeral in carpathia", although it didn't sound live at all on the Advance-CD available to me. Nevertheless COF released a cool Appetizer, previous to hopefully shortly available, new album.
