The first ever DVD in the lengthy career of Amorphis! Includes two first-rate concerts, e.g. Summer Breeze 2009, 11 video clips and an hour-long documentary. A feast for all Amorphis fans!

After a whopping twenty years of band history, it's about time Amorphis release a DVD! All those years, they made great albums all along, and in spite of a change of style and singer, they have always played their way into the hearts of their fans. "Forging the land of thousand lakes" is an entertaining double DVD, featuring two full live shows, all eleven video clips, and a tv interview from 1996. The live footage was recorded on their home turf in Finnish Oulu and during Germany's "Summer Breeze" festival where the blokes strutted their stuff in front of 25000 enthusiastic fans. Al in all, that's 28 (!) live tracks, among them immortal evergreens such as "Against widows", "The castaway", "Black winter day" and "My Kantele", but also newer smashers like "Silver bride", "Silent water" and "The smoke". Crystal-clear sound, outstanding footage and editing, plus the bonus material (cult!) including the old clips - that's what I call a nice package indeed.
