by Markus Eck (04/01) Already the predecessor album "Shreds of dignity" could delight me but this new album finally makes me a big fan. Bandboss Gary Meskil and his three sovereign guys groove enormously but the Heavy Metal factor was greatly increased. The third song even has a lot of hit potential, a song that reveals tremendous compository potential - and it's not even the only killer on this album. It goes on like that - and it feels really good what Meskil & friends present on this album. The mercilessly roaring riffs were again performed enrapturously, they hammer down on your ears like ten uncontrollable pile-drivers. But that's not all. It's stonishing how catchy and easy this all is presented with melodies. Pro-Pain really progressed for the better without losing their grim face. The new sound is individually original and has some Hardcore-elements, too. But I think that Pro-Pain have never been harder or better before. Congratulations!
