by Jürgen Tschamler (29.09.2006) "Fang bang" is Wednesday 13's second solo album. And again I have to say: respect, Sir! Wednesday 13 and his band colleagues rock the house and sound like a fresh mix of the Murderdolls and Frankenstein Drag Queens, yet with a much higher kick ass factor. Still Punk, but with a tremendous guitar sound and some essential Metal input let you jump through your home like a Jack in a Box. That also Kiss had an obvious influence on the material could be mentioned too. Many of the songs have a catchy chorus and great melody lines. Worth highlighting is e.g., the smasher of the album, "Happily ever cadaver"! A hit!!! Very different are the killers like "Curse of me" or the grenade-like "Too much blood". In many songs Wednesday 13 sounds like - don't laugh! - a high energy Rock'n'Roll version of WASP frontman Blackie Lawless! A very well done album that I can recommend, not only to Rock'n'Roll fans but to Metal fans too.
