by Jürgen Tschamler (29.03.2010) They do not only play fast - in the meantime, the Bay Area boys have cranked up their release frequency quite a bit, too. You were hardly able to catch your breath after "Shovel headed tour machine", and badabing-badabang, the next Exodus output is just around the corner! Their new studio monster "Exhibit B: The human condition" hammers one thing home: Exodus don't know the word "idle". The album, produced by Andy Sneap, doesn't sound as setrile and technical as the last ones - the songs come across very earthy, old-school and with impressive speed. The axe duo Altus/Holt attacks relentlessly - steamrollers like "March of the sycophants" leave nothing but rubble in their wake. Remarkable: Mr. Dukes actually sings a lot on this album! But the blokes can also take the foot off the accelerator - just check "Democide", a mid-tempo track with a catchy chorus turning into a mighty juggernaut of a song! After "Beyond the pale", you'll need a short break (hint: start breathing again), and when the CD has finally stopped, you better call your physiotherapist (hint: neck problems)...
