by Andreas Reissnauer (07.01.2008) There is something going on in the German underground. Sufferage can well be called veterans also if their degree of popularity is still not that big. That should finally change with the third album, "Everlasting enmity". Formed in Hamburg in 2000, the guys have bundled all their strengths and delivered an album that convinces on an international level. Heavy sound blasts, high pace all the way through, interrupted only by neck killing breaks, and a grave voice that lets you think of U.S. names, such as Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation. The 15 songs of the new album are on a high quality level and have a great production that is also reminiscent of the legendary Cannibal Corpse-masterpieces. Also the great cover by Killustrations fits this album perfectly. So if you like U.S. Death Metal and like to discover great new bands, "Everlasting enmity" is definitely for you!
