Article description

Comes on recycled double vinyl.

With their reputation as a formidable and dynamic live band, not least due to numerous European tours and high-profile festival appearances, LONG DISTANCE CALLING has been developing their skills and possibilities towards a crescendo for some time. In 2020, despite not being able to go on tour, the band released their seventh and most captivating Album, How Do We Want To Live?, which debuted at number 7 on the German Album charts.

As they were unable to directly share their new music with people this time, they decided instead to dive enthusiastically back into the creative process. The end result of all this creativity is surely destined to become one of the great progressive records of the year. LONG DISTANCE CALLING's eighth Album is titled Eraser: a direct and heartfelt homage to the gradual erosion of nature by humans. Eraser is dedicated to the endangered species of the world, with each song representing a specific endangered creature.
