by Markus Eck (03.02.2009) You love your atmosphere dreamy and our mood dark and romantic? Then you loved their Fantasy Symphonic Metal album which came out last year, containing some great songs so timeless and precious you could listen to them again and again. And that is also true for "Ellipsis" - even more so because the Swiss have increased the aesthetical part of the new compositions. Being more emotional, the fresh songs meander between beauty and noblesse. New comely songstress Simone Christinat is an adequate and versatile successor of her gifted predecessor. With her voice capacity, Simone is able to manage all vocal challenges anyway. But the Swiss do also demonstrate that you neednβt lose all edges and still can be rough in spite of delicate sounds. All in all, an interesting album, not just for fans of this style, but for everyone who likes it emotional and who likes some classical music from time to time, between his Rock and Metal stuff...
