Dornenreich really manage to thrill me with their mixture of Dark Metal, Gothic and Folk: Album No. 5 is a true hitter and has everything for the upcoming cold season. The atmospheric sound thunderstorms whipping down on you with acoustic and electric guitars and the frightening vocals are absolute highlights of this genre. "Durch den Traum" leads you through eight chapters of despair, anger, sadness and poetry. Scream vocals change with whispered words and let the listener stiffen. The short intro is followed directly by two ten-minute songs featuring all trademarks and strengths of Dornenreich.
