The story of Dio goes beyond the standard rock documentary. 'Dreamers Never Die' wonderfully illuminates both his powerful voice and his gentle heart, showcasing the incredible rise of the singer from his days as a Doo-Wop crooner in the 50s to his early rock days with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, replacing Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, and ultimately solidifying his rock star status with Dio. The first documentary authorized by the artist's estate, it includes never-before-seen footage and personal photos from Dio's archives, as well as intimate scenes with his closest colleagues, family, and friends, including Wendy Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, Vinny Appice, Lita Ford, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach, Eddie Trunk, and Jack Black, giving viewers insight into the life of one of the true heroes of rock'n'roll.
In addition to the feature-length film, this release includes a 20-minute selection of deleted and extended scenes from the editing room, providing fans with an unforgettable experience.
