An unusual gathering are Dream Evil, lead by star producer, Fredrik Nordstrâm (Hammerfall, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, etc...), who is the guitarist. Drummer is Snowy Shaw (ex-King Diamond, Notre Dame), singer Niklas Istfeldt, who sang the background vocals for the first two Hammerfall albums. The other musicians are yet unknown. Musically, Dream Evil have devoted to melodic Power Metal, extremely fast and clearly Hammerfall oriented. Especially a song, like "The prophecy" could also be one of the men around Oscar Dronjak. Just like Hammerfall, Dream Evil don¦t reinvent the circle, but if you like smooth Power Metal with catchy melodies, you will surely love "Dragonslayer". A good, very professional debut that only lacks in his own identity.
