The 24. November 2003 was a very special day for Iron Maiden fans: in Dortmund, they recorded the complete show of the "Dance of death"-Tour. A happening that will remain in the most positive remembrance, also because Bruce Dickinson & Co. presented such fabulous versions of new songs, as "Paschendale", "Wildest dreams", "Journeyman", "Rainmaker" or "No more lies" this night as well as their classic, "Can I play with madness", performed with a power that you hadn't experienced in a long time. All this and a lot more can now be found on the 3-DVD set, "Death on the road" (featuring the concert dvd in two sound versions: stereo & DD 5.1). Beside the 17 tracks of the show you get the official video clips of some of the "Dance of death"-songs, added by interviews with the musicians, backstage material and comments by the fans. Excellently done with brilliant picture and sound-quality and perfect cuts. This set perfectly reflects the complete dynamics of a Maiden concert.
