by Markus Wosgien (21.11.2007) They call themselves the chameleon of the music scene and it is indeed difficult to pigeonhole this combo to a certain scene. But it's exactly this individual, unique note that makes Letzte Instanz so special. For their tenth anniversary, the band takes off their masks and presents itself acoustically and without heavy guitars but with piano and strings instead. What you get is a collection of classics, like "Ohne dich", "Morgenrot", "FΓΌr immer und ewig" and "Kalter Glanz", instantly developing their own charms and appearing almost more emotional and impressive than the original versions. The new album is enhanced by four new songs, including the dreamy title track, "Das weisse Lied", the slow "Winter", as well as the two instrumental songs, "Eros" and "Mutter". Topping on the ice, however, is the German version, "Helden", of the David Bowie-classic, "Heroes". Upcoming is the next tour on which the band is being supported by musicians of Schandmaul and Subway To Sally β so be sure to not miss that!
