With their first-class mixture of Mercyful Fate, old Iron Maiden and Doom Metal, Metal Blade is of course the perfect label for the Swedish newcomer Portrait. This is as good as Heavy Metal was back in 1983!

Fate's Lovers

The basis for the sound is basically just Mercyful Fate.I hope in the coming future found their own way.Good enough players and waste their talent for a long.Getting older on music school, I am sure, doing better things.A good one album for Fates lovers.

Perfect Mercyful Fate clone

I didn't like their other albums a lot, but this is just a bull's eye hit. Totally fits the highest standarts set by Danish heavy metal patriarchs, you know who I'm talking about. Definitely recommended for the fans of the King and his colleagues.
