"Cosmic Race" LP by Scanner

The time has come for a new Scanner album after almost a decade. As the previous discography almost demands, 'The Cosmic Race' has become a concept album: Survival on Earth has become increasingly difficult, natural disasters are increasing, and military conflicts have reached their peak, with large parts of the continents being nuclear-contaminated. Life is concentrated in a few large cities, and the tightness and heat within them have become unbearable. The Scanner (a mixture of human and android) gathers a group of people to bring them to a habitable planet named Terrion in another galaxy. The long journey ends successfully. But even in the new world, people must defend themselves against aliens and invaders from other civilized planets and start over again. They want to take advantage of their second chance and do better than on Earth. However, there are doubters and renegades among them who resist the new community. The Scanner has developed a system that can identify these renegades in their nightly dream phases. They find themselves in a Twilight Zone. Eventually, they are tied to giant totem poles in a trance, where dream and reality fight against each other until they are cleansed.
