For sure, "Construct" by Dark Tranquillity is one of the most important albums of the melodic death metal genre this year. The ten compositions on "Construct" reveal directness, which derives from melody and emotional depth rather than from complicated riffs, but includes thrilling guitar work at the same time. Furthermore, the mixing skills of the well known producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Kreator, etc.) get the best sound for the band.
