"Confessions of the fallen" CD by Staind

The highly anticipated new album from Staind, Confessions of the Fallen - the band's first new studio album since 2011 - will be released on September 15, 2023.

The 10 tracks on Confessions of the Fallen explore a variety of sonic niches. The debut single 'Lowest In Me' (currently at #2* on the active rock charts), 'Cycle of Hurting,' 'Was Any of it Real?', and 'Hate Me Too' charge forward with relentless anger, with the electronics further intensifying the musicians' frenzied attacks. Tracks like 'Out of Time,' 'In This Condition,' and 'The Fray' stand out with their flowing arrangements and captivating dynamic shifts, while 'Here and Now' and the cautiously optimistic 'Better Days' serve as reminders that Staind is not unfamiliar with beauty - when appropriate, of course. Lyrically, Confessions of the Fallen once again draws from the dark, contemplative corners that Lewis has always incorporated into Staind's songs, yet these 10 songs are more personal than ever before.
