The Notwist make their comeback after six years with a great new album which is called "Close To The Glass". The new album is also the most versatile and homogeneous record that The Notwist have recorded so far. The band likes to use the term "collage" when they have to describe the overall picture of their twelve tracks: complex electronic tracks like the opening song "Signals", the title song or "Into Another Tune" take turns with tracks that almost completely consist of Markus Achers voice and an acoustic guitar ("Casino", "Steppin' In"). Also you will find the stirring "Kong" on the record which is the hit of the album and gets played live by the band for quite some time now.
