Ne Obliviscaris return in 2014 with an album that leaves nothing to be desired! The first album "Portal of I" was something to watch, but the six Australians did everything right on "Citadel". Melodic Death metal decorated with all sorts of progressive, but always comprehensible elements. The sound on the new album is majestic and lets the extra long tracks (just the "Painters of the Tempest" trilogy takes 23 minutes) shine in all their glory. Definitely one of the greatest releases of 2014.
