by Jürgen Tschamler (03.02.2009) This Rage release may cause some disputes: apart from one new song, "Home", you won’t find any novelties on this MCD. "Home" is a slow, melancholic track for an evening in front of the fireplace. Some may find the two "germanised" songs "Gib dich nie auf" ("Never give up") and "Vollmond" ("Full moon", has already been released in this German version on the special edition of "Speak of the dead") interesting, though. The German vocals make these two Power songs sound strange, but not uninteresting. Also included: "Never give up", "Terrified" (also known from the Nuclear Blast Allstars album: "Into the light"), and the orchestra version of "Lord of the flies". There’s also some film footage: an enhanced video clip of "Refuge", performed at the Wacken Open Air 2007. This MCD will be released in a nice box, together with "Carved in stone" - but you can also buy it separately. If you want to add to your Rage collection: go ahead.
