Since the mid-90s, the Norwegians Nocturnal Breed have been spreading terror and destruction in the metal scene with their extreme interpretation of blackened thrash metal. And they continue to do so with their seventh album 'Carry The Beast'. Nocturnal Breed, now a trio, shred like they always have and this time they even added old-school Heavy Metal to the mix. So there is a slight evolution of the sound without breaking too much with the old sound. The album reflects many of the darker aspects of humanity that have come to the forefront in the last two to three years. Recorded without modern equipment, the sound is mercilessly unrestrained and raw like a war wound.
