The undisputed heroes of Symphonic Metal finally release the second single of their successful "Dark passion play" album. The energetic "Bye bye beautiful" convinces with catchy melodies and a thrilling chorus that can only come from the hands of Tuomas Holopainen. The single is being released as DVD and Audio-CD with different contents. On the CD single, you have a rare demo version of "The poet and the pendulum" (featuring vocals provided by Marco Hietala) as well as an instrumental version of the great b-side, "Escapist" and an edgy remix of "Bye bye beautiful". On the DVD, you get the video-clips for the title track, for the first single, "Amaranth" as well as for "While your lips are still red". Furthermore, you get an entertaining clip documenting the making of the video-clip for "Bye bye beautiful". For true fans, both versions of the hit single are absolute must-haves!
