It's been 20 years and Tankard is not getting tired. The new album "B-Day" sounds fresher, heavier and more Old-School than everything we have heard from the boys in the past couple of years. "Kings of beer" and "Disco destroyer" sure do have some balls! But "B-Day" simply blows you away with the growling guitar parts. Singer Gerre is in top condition and fuels the songs with the typical Tankard spirit! For songs like "Need money for beer", "Ugly, fat and still alive", "Sunscars" or "Zero dude" Tankard floor the accelerator. These songs are high quality - end of discussion. And they will take Tankard back to the top where they're supposed to be. But the most impressive part of "B-Day" is the powerful and energetic way by which the Germans rage through their songs. Pure Tankard Trash coming your way at full throttle. So, don't forget: "B-Day" means Buy-Day! And the first edition of the record comes with a limited Bonus CD containing the first Tankard Demos! Value for money! (JΓΌrgen Tschamler)
