German epic metal pioneers 'Equilibrium' really light a fire of joy this summer with the release of their fifth LP. Guitarist, composer and songwriter RenΓ© Berthiaume worked for nearly two years on the new album which is titled 'Armageddon'. The result: a quite grim output that still has the bombast and folk elements of previous albums. The album has been recorded, mixed and produced by RenΓ© himself this time while Maor Appelbaum in Los Angeles was responsible for mastering. The cover artwork was created by Skadi Rosehurst again.
