Article description

In order to celebrate Scorpions 50th band anniversary, „Animal Magnetism“ appears in a remastered digipak edition including 6 bonus tracks.

When the Scorpions went to the studio in order to record "Animal Magnetism" between two tours, they were under the tremendous pressure to write and record songs within a very short period of time. Nevertheless - or perhaps just because of it - they managed to create a masterpiece that is still valid decades later. It was the first album which reached platinum status in the USA and thus sustainably established the Scorpions among the biggest Rock bands in North America. Next to the remastered original album tracks, the CD contains some so far unreleased bonus songs, for example „Hey You“ and the Outtake „American Girl“. All bonus tracks have been personally selected by the band. A 16-page booklet containing liner-notes of the former Metal Hammer chief editor Edgar Klüsener, partly rare photos as well as images of backstage passes, tour posters and rare single covers complete the package.
